The Regional Triangle of Weimar is a "Regional Framework Cooperation", a mini-programme within INTERREG IIIC. The partners - the land of North Rhine- Westphalia (Germany, lead partner), the Conseil Régional of Nord-Pas de Calais (France) and Voivodeship Silesia (Poland) - agree on a project-oriented cooperation in the three subject areas "Industrial Restructuring", "Social Policy" and "Modern Administration". One objective is the networking of public, public equivalent and private bodies to initialise sustainable partnerships and succeeding projects. Duration of this programme is January 2004 to March 2007. This framework operation is part-financed by funds of the EU-programme INTERREG IIIC and contains a financial capacity of 1,5 Mio. Euro for the First Call until the end of 2006.
